Our Story
Early 1980s
Tiger’s history began in 1986 in Colorado under the name Provan RV Industries and as an overlanding pioneer. The original owner created the open RV layout that Tiger still uses today with early vehicles built on the Chevrolet Astrovan. Provan RV Industries was one of the very first companies to enter into the overlanding camper market designing an RV that could take you to off-grid places and keep you there with the comforts of home.
In the early 2000’s, the company moved to the east coast and began manufacturing the CX model on a truck chassis.

Mid-2000’s
In the mid-2000’s, the original owner sold the company to a new owner. Tiger began manufacturing the Bengal model and also produced the Malayan and Siberian models while marketing the DBA name Tiger Adventure Vehicles instead of the umbrella name, Provan, in marketing materials.
The owner sold the company to the Humbaughs in 2020. Since then, Tiger Adventure Vehicles continues to grow: ramping up marketing efforts and attending more shows, offering service and repair to current customers and a re-sale program for preowned units, offering more camper options for new builds and producing the powerful PANTHERA model line in 2024.

Today
Today, the company is settled in the beautiful north Georgia mountains an hour due north of Atlanta with about 1,500 Tigers on the road.
Tiger continues to honor its long-standing history in the overlanding and RV camping market.
