Tiger Adventure Vehicles Hit Major Milestone

Tiger Adventure Vehicles is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the annual Tiger Rally, June 13, in Camp Hale, Colorado. This business anniversary marks four decades of delivering long-lasting, off-grid adventure vehicles, exceptional service, and a passion for exploration that has earned the trust of 1,500 customers.

Founded in 1986 in Colorado, Provan Industries, which now goes by Tiger Adventure Vehicles, began with a simple mission: to build reliable, capable, and maneuverable recreational vehicles (RVs) that empower people to explore beyond the pavement. In the early 2000’s, Provan Industries moved its factory to the east coast and has been there ever since.

Reaching 40 years in business is an incredible milestone for Tiger,” said Scott Humbaugh, President of Tiger Adventure Vehicles. “It reflects the loyalty of our customers, our technical teams’ dedication and commitment to the product, and our shared love for adventure travel. We are deeply grateful to our customers and our Tiger fans who have continued to support us for the past 40 years.

What sets a Tiger apart from conventional motorhomes is its unique blend of off-road capability and practicality. Unlike a slide-in truck camper, the living quarters are permanently integrated with the cab, creating a walk-through design that allows occupants to move freely between the driving and living areas without stepping outside. Built on a heavy-duty 4WD truck chassis, Tigers are engineered to tackle rough backroads, remote campsites, and four-season conditions while still providing the amenities expected in a modern RV. This combination of durability, comfort, and expedition-ready capability has earned Tiger Adventure Vehicles a loyal following among overlanders and outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure beyond the end of the road.

Throughout its history, Tiger Adventure Vehicles has expanded its product offerings with several different models to fit customers’ needs and continuously refined its designs to meet the demands of adventurers, outdoor enthusiasts, and campers alike. The company’s reputation has been built not only on dependable vehicles, but also on long-standing relationships with customers and partners.

Our past gives us a strong foundation, but our focus remains on what’s next,” added Humbaugh. “We’re excited about the future and are committed to delivering the continued reliability and high- quality 4×4 campers in the overlanding market for the next 40 years and beyond.
